Work brings profit,
but mere talk leads to poverty!

There are many different sayings that deal with similar takes on the same subject.
“Actions speak louder than words.” Actions cost us time and energy while “words are cheap”.

Actions speak for themselves. Actions produce. Words mean little without the actions to back them up. Work does bring profit, but if we only talk about what we are going to do it produces little and is profitless.

This is so true of our health journey. I can’t tell you how much talk I have had about diets and what I was going to do over the years. If I had done it even 20% as much as talked about it, I would be a human specimen of health.

This short scripture contains so much truth to it. It is true of our life’s career. It is true of our health journey. It is true of our life’s journey. Even God’s word says that our “Faith without works is dead.”
