The Hard Work of Becoming Spiritually, Emotionally and Physically Healthy
Prioritize your work
Proverbs 24:27
Do your planning and prepare your fields before building your house.
If we have proper priorities, our work will be fruitful and a blessing. Working hard without a plan is disorganized chaos that rarely accomplishes anything close to what was desired.
Examine our scripture for today:
1. Plan—what we are going to and how we are going to do it, is essential to a fruitful life.
2. Prepare—Once we have planned what we are going to do, we must make preparations. Think about garden preparations.
3. Build—Now one of the things that is very interesting is that the word here in the Hebrew that is interpreted “barn...technically receptacle” in some places.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
Triple D: What is your plan, are you prepared? If so, then it is time to build. Do some personal evaluation, and commit this to the Lord.
