The Power of Trust

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

As the pandemic continues to wind down, the future feels a little more certain now, but
inflation and the like are occupying too much room in our minds. One thing we must
remember is this: God is in all of our tomorrows. He knows the way and he has a plan for
each of us. We can be secure that God’s plan is our best way forward. God doesn’t ask us
If the future feels uncertain right now, and worry keeps occupying too much room in your
heart, in your mind, remember this: God is already in all our tomorrows. He knows our
way, and He has a plan. And we can be assured it's always the best one for us. We are
never left on our own. He simply asks for our trust and he leads.

- "Trust (be confident in, be bold, be secure)
- in the Lord with all your heart (seat of emotions, inclinations, mind, soul),
- and do not lean (trust, support)
- on your own understanding (discernment).
- In all your ways acknowledge Him (know, recognize),
- and He will make your paths straight (pleasing, right, smooth)."

We may not always see what's ahead, but our God does. Our lives can be powerful as we
keep our trust in him. Clarity and guidance flow to us the longer we trust him and walk
obediently.

Triple D: On a scale from 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high, how would you rank
your level of trust in God. Take a few minutes and talk to God about trust and your desire
or lack of desire to trust him.
